Turned down for Life Insurance

Been to sort out my new mortgage which is in joint name with my hubby, got to the Life Insurance Application and Hubby sailed through, I on the other hand didn't.

For the first time ever on any form it actually listed APS as a medical condition along side Lupus, DVT AND TIA.

Having completed the form, the computer said 'NO' (humour to lighten the mood)

Has anyone else experienced this and if so where you able to get cover and who with.

I'm interested to find out if there are companies out there who'd cover me. The company we went with was Legal and General. Have had cover with them in the past but that was a long time ago and before I was diagnosed with APS.

Look forward to hearing from anyone soon.

Try doing a google search for:

best life insurance for pre existing medical conditions

and see if that comes up with anything useful.

If you go to the charity website, I think there is a broker who helps with this.

Hi JoJo, did you manage to find a company will to insure you? Legal and General are notorious for advertising low rates but then when it comes to the crunch, declining applications! Ed Froggatt at NLP can help if you are still looking.

Not what you're looking for?
