Saw doctor today. All test were clear which is great but he also said I had a negative blood test for ApS.

He looked at my notes and i had a negative test before my son was born but I was still given asprin and fragmin. He repeated the test and will do again in 3 months. If negative again he might take me off warfarin. Im so confused !!! Anyone else had the same thing ? Xx

You must explain in person and in writing about Seronegative Hughes Syndrome/APS and please look at our pinned notes section on this forum, and also the new page on the charity website. You can send them links to the papers on this and explain that should you have a stroke or incident you will hold them responsible for this! MaryF

You have had two strokes earlier. As APsnotFab is saying you run the risk of further clotting if you let them take the warfarin away! Aspirin is working different compared to warfarin.

Best wishes to you from Kerstin in Stockholm

I haven't had strokes. I miscarried at 22 weeks and had a prem baby at 29 weeks. I've had no blood clots xx

It was Dobiedogz (answered above).

So good that I was wrong and that you had not had any strokes!

Please forgive me also.
