Hello all, Just a quick post to let you all know that so far I have had no complications with my pregnancy. I do get worried and I am very anxious but I have to stay positive. We had an early scan last week, which estimated I was around 8+1weeks. The scan revealed all is well and our baba is growing accordingly. Today I am 9+2weeks, suffering with lower back ache which makes me worry, but i've read up and the pains i'm feeling seem normal during early pregnancy. My belly is bruised from the Heparin injections, They seem to be hurting more.. did anyone else find this the more their pregnancy progressed? My morning sickness has eased the past couple of days, which also worries me. Did anyone else's morning sickness reduce during week 9 of pregnancy? I'm probably just overthinking things but given my history its hard not too. I hope your all well.

Hi there, you are doing well, really well, and a problem shared is better please do use this forum as much as you feel able to, so many on here have been in your situation. All the best to you and your partner. MaryF
It's nice to hear your update. Stay positive. When is your next scan? I had all kinds of lower abdominal aches in early pregnancy with my daughter and each time I would get stressed out. As for morning sickness - I didn't have any at all not even nauseous - every woman is different. With the injections I would vary where I put them. Sometimes in abdomen and sometimes on the top of my thighs which helped keep the areas less tender. My sister in laws sister also has APS and she did the same. Ask your doctor about varying the sites of the injections. Unfortunately given your history (like mine) you will be anxious but you just have to see the long term and stay strong. Sending lots of positive thoughts to you and your little baby xxx
I had sickness until 20 weeks with first pregnancy and only upto around 7 weeks with second. With both pregnancies I had awful stretching pains in tummy and backache. Was reassured that it was normal and just the body making room. I'm insure of the injections as I was undiagnosed at this point.
I'm sure it will feel like a long 9 months. But keep talking to us. We are here to support you.
Sending you hugs and strength.
Hi there
Having had 5 miscarriages (one was twins)
I too was finally put on Clexane Injections and Baby Aspirin 75mg Daily throughout entire pregnancy's (just had to stop clexane, 2 weeks before due date, but had to stay on the aspirin)
I was taught how to self inject and managed this well throughout,
I was also told to VARY the injection sites and to use alternative sides of my tummy - are you doing that?
Yes, I was permanently bruised from the injections and the injection sites can be a little sore,
maybe ask your Midwife/Gp to 'have a look' if you worried
I also had to have a scan EVERY 2 weeks (to check that babies were growing properly)
it felt like I lived at the Maternity Department during my child bearing years LOL
I then had 3 successful pregnancy's :o)
It is VERY hard to stop worrying - I know !
But try to remain positive as this is good for you and baby ;o)
If you need anything, please feel free to message me
I wish you all the very best M xx
