Leg still in pain
So sorry Jet,
Hope you have someone that helps you with Casey and Medical professionals that are looking after you well. This is an illness of hell for some of us. Thinking of you here Jet. Kerstin
Saturday morning - can't sleep- sleep pattern so messed up , I am confusing my alarm clock !!!! almost 5:00 A.M. been up since 3:45-- 3 flares to start the day . They are passing rather quickly this morning - On a better note leg feels a little better this morning { so far }-- How are things in Sweden and with you today . I need to strip my bed { as soon as I can get Casey up and off it } and after 7:30 I can do my washing of the sheets , you know { my womanly chores } HA HA . then paper work for the Dc's and the Bank to try to make sence of my account !!! and that's always fun --- and what is in store for you ????
Sorry to hear you are still having pain. Have you noticed any improvements since you started treatment. Once the clots clear the improvement should speed. up. I found that focussing my thoughts on what I was going to do when I was well again helped me through a long period of illness. And distraction to get through till you are better. Make sure you keep your doctor informed. Plan some lovely things to look forward to . You will appreciate the simplest things so much more after periods like this. I remember being thrilled at just being in a shop.
Hope you are picking up already. All the best
Ann
It saddens me to hear you are in so much pain. From what you wrote it sounds as if are at home (?). Maybe things have changed since it has been many years since I have had DVT's (clots in legs) and PE's (clots in lung) but I was hospitalized for 10 days for all. I was immediately started on Heparin and on day 6-7 was weaned off to Warfarin. I will keep you in my prayers for relief and a speedy recovery.
Thank You Ann -- Where are you , U. K. ??-- just asking because it's early here in the states . Now that I am up and about , lets see how it goes -- this is my every day start to the day . Start as positive as you can and roll with the punches
just woke up Casey and get him ready for his morning walk out side to do his business, then strip bed !! Isn't that exciting HA
THe un.-- these particular clots are super fiscal or shallow vein I luckily have not had any more DVT or PE i was so loaded with clots in 2009 that i signed myself in ER on Monday morning 3:30 A.M. and after the second day when they knew of AL:L the clots every where the DC told me if in 3 days you make it threw you have a 30 % chance of making it threw this --- they couldn't believe i was alive to begin with -- they had never seen a person so loaded with clots that lived ?? These clots now hurt like HELL and like a tooth ache behind your knee and up the leg about 8 inches .
I am so sorry to read this. I'm sure Casey has licked at your painful legs as much as he can in doggy hopes that will help. But it sounds as if Casey is more active in your treatment then your local docs.
Thinking of you . . .
Gina
