INR Race with Lissy Lou.

Ok let's see how we do, Lissy Lou! We may be surprised at what we learn! LOL

5-21 went for labs, forgot about reading blogs, after getting a citation from a nice policeman, that kindly pointed out my expired inspection sticker on my windshield!! I was so embarrassed, it should have been renewed in February. BTW- went right after the doctor appointment and had it done. This happens when you have to go to so many different doctors, you can barely keep up, because they think you're crazy,menopausal,exaggerating and just depressed.!!!!! So because I am not All of those, I am going to go to the court and ask the Judge, to envoke the lesser fine, that I could have got, had they stopped me within 60 days of the expiration. LOL I have been advised that I pay the fine, and leave it at that, but I am thinking why not try? Sorry, off soap box..

INR 2.3 staying on 5 mg until next Tuesday 28th. Tina

Hi Tina

Good luck with the Judge, I hope you can persuade him to see your point of view. I have a feeling you're going to win our race!! I've had three blood tests since 17 May and have risen from 1.2 - 1.6. I'm now up to 14mg + 1 LMW heparin a day, next test also on Tuesday 28 May.

Hello. Finished the antibiotics on Thursday afternoon and have noted that with the anti-coagulation clinic. Fingers crossed we'll see a jump up on Tuesday. Today I drove again for the first time in weeks! Awesome to be back in control. X

Wowzers! Had another blood test at 2pm and the hospital have just phoned me to say that my INR has jumped up to 2.6 today!! I have been asked to stop the LMW Heparin and continue on 14mg Warfarin. So. Next test on Friday, fingers crossed that I hit the magic 3.0!

Looks that way.... Am hoping that the couple of glasses of red wine this weekend has nothing to do with it.... :/

It seems that I have gone off course!! Today's INR was 5 ! And I was feeling really good! But, the doctors have told me to skip tonight and tomorrow night, then back to 4 mg. I am frustrated with myself because I forgot to split a 2 mg pill for 2 days taking 3 @6mg total, instead of 2 1/2 @ 5mg. I am now going to put pills in a case and be sure to get the dose correct. I am glad your INR is going up Lissy Lou, it is amazing how we respond differently.
