I have been diagnosed with RBBB and was told its nothing to worry about but when I can feel my irregular heart beat it doesn't feel like there is nothing to worry about. Plus I can find very little information about this condition.
Can anyone point me in the right direction

I looked on Wikipedia after seeing your response.....I know not the best place, but it informed me a bit more. I suppose, if it was me, I would go back to Dr of list of questions. Including is there anything to reverse? E.g high blood pressure, or blocked arteries, is it worth having. I read it occurs with healthy people too. I am sorry you couldn't find answer to your questions. What questions do you have by the wat, maybe it may relate to something we have experienced in a different area?

Thank you for your reply, some of the questions I had was can it progress into something more worrying and if so what should I be looking for. Do you need an annual review to just check that alls well. What are the parameters when it ceases to be ok. Is it hereditary, at what point should you take action other than when you have chest pain. These are the kind of questions I was wanting to get more information on.
I did look it up on wikipedia too and although it did give me some information it didn't really give me what I was looking for.
I did go back and see a different GP but he wasn't anymore helpful that the previous Dr. Maybe I am asking for too much information for which there isn't any information.
Well, from what you have written, I would say, May be wrong... not a doctor, but some of those questions a GP may not know as they are detailed for a specialist to know. Hmmmm does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi Thank you for your reply. I felt the same, I feel GP's know about a lot of conditions but not the details of some conditions. If they did we wouldn't need the experts.
I also have it and cardiologist said it's nothing to worry about right now.

Sorry I'm clueless about it but if you find anything please put it on the board as I think this is what my mum was told she had - she doesn't appear to have been put on any additional meds for it.

I didn't think there was any treatment or a need for treatment. Glad you are ok, it sounds that in your case it may be hereditary.

I was diagnosed with RBBB 12-months ago. Cardiologist said it's nothing to worry about but if I start having fainting episodes or black-outs then I'm to present myself to A&E immediately. At first I was a bit apprehensive of carrying on with my sporting interests but as long as I don't overdo things and make sure I recover adequately between sessions, then I should be fine. To date, I'm still doing the stuff I've always done with no problems. Everyone's different though.
