Hi Glitter, palpitations are highly unlikely to kill you so please stop worrying about that. Do you know that stress and anxiety of any kind can cause them?
Please let us know when you get your echo-cardiogram and holter monitor results.
Meanwhile try to eat foods that don't have any artificial additives, no drinks with it in either. Artificial sweeteners are a sure trigger for most people, as is alcohol and caffeine.

Hey so i got back my results the echocardiogram is ok n the 24 hr holter said i ave PVC.. i dont visit my doctor as yet could u plz explain is it serious i'm so afraid.
Your heart is irritated, try magnesium suppliments (not oxide), as magnesium in your cells (where it's needed) does not show accurately on blood tests. I also recommend you look at Dr Gupta's videos on YouTube, just type "yorkcaradiology" in the search box, you will find around 30+ videos, start with the palpitation videos.
Hello!
Well we're all scared of dying, Glitter, but palpitations and ectopic heartbeats are extremely common and almost always nothing to be concerned about. Mine began when I was thirty - I had all the tests you speak of long ago, and was told by my GP, and the cardiologist at Bart's, "There's nothing for you to be at all worried about". I believed them. I guess that's all anyone can do. And they were right. I have continued to have ectopic heartbeats and palpitations all my life - at times they have wakened me at night. But I'm used to them now, they come and they go. As Jean says, while anxiety and worry are understandable they 100% do not help. So try to calm yourself, enjoy getting to know your little girl. It's a lovely time. Like me, you're going be okay - I'm now getting on for seventy-nine - I still have extoics and palitations, but I feel fine Enjoy your life!

Try not to worry too much, I know it’s difficult though. Once your echo results are read they will know if your heart is healthy. Chances are it is just fine. If all is functioning normally, doctors see usually see no risk in palpitations. They will be able to see what type you are having from the holter and treat (or not treat) accordingly. And if you are just having bunches of palps and being driven crazy by them, they can give you meds to lessen those but palps don’t usually need meds in a healthy heart. As some people have said, some lifestyle changes can help but sometimes it’s not enough and you'll need to take a low dose med. Good luck!
