I am been tested for Prostate Cancer, I had two schwannomas on my prostate in March 2020, my bladder is VERY irregular, urine a bit unpredictable, I had a Transperineal (TP) Biopsy of Prostate done on 13th June, I fear waiting for that long because of Covid pandemic, does not make my diagnosis feel too rosy, normally 2-3 weeks but a month in my case! I CANNOT STAND [or in my case sit] the wait, in reality I cannot go out of the house, I live by myself, I have a sister around the corner who is aware of my terminal epilepsy diagnosis last year, at present she was not aware of the true nature of my biopsy? Any advice?

Information on Prostate Cancer?
Hang in there my friend. Easier to say than do, I know, Hopefully the result will come back negative for cancer.
Thankyou my friend I need all the support I can get, now confined to house because of bladder control, things do not look good?
If all else fails, there are a variety of options for bladder control ranging from surgical implantation of an artificial sphincter to expertal less intrusive options. There is no reason to stay confined to your home. You absolutely should find out what is going on with the prostate before considering anything other than the less intrusive options. Here are some options offered by my urology practice.

Hope you find both a short and long term solution.
Just got an appointment to be fixed for general surgery, at local hospital, did not realise ANYTHING to do with it, UNTIL I recognised the Dr.'s name, on the letter! She specifically told me will ring me "if anything happens!" I gave her my mobile number? I get that many medical appointments a real "lab ratπ" so at last something is happening! Much appreciated Hunterπ
