Does pharmacy take foreign prescriptions ?

I'm french and I'm staying in England for a few months.

I wondered if pharmacies took french prescriptions, as I need a new box of Atarax and I don't know if a doctor who doesn't know me would give me some (plus I don't feel like going to see one).
