For lunch today, I wanted to have these two-medium sized strawberries, a Greek Keylime yogurt, Muenster/Cheddar/Swiss cheese along with yellow mustard and gluten free bread (multigrain). The entire meal was 53 carbs. with the yogurt. Everything was really delicious and had lots of protein.

Thank you for that, Hidden . You can always use sliced cheeses of any flavor you like and get some bread. If you don't want mustard mixed in on the bread slices, put them on one side of the bread and close the sandwich before putting it in the microwave. You can pick out your favorite flavor of yogurt and add strawberries on the side when you're ready. It's all fast and delicious.
My lunch wasn’t as good as yours and that’s a fact, Jack. LolLooks like it’s going to be a high carb day because I’m not going to the market until tomorrow. The cupboard is bare. I had Mac n cheese and noodles with chicken breast and a piece of bread. I’m eyeballing some carrot strips and celery to fill in the gap. Not my usual fare. The carbs,I mean. 🥹
How many total carbs. are in the noodles for the mac. & cheese? Each type is different depending on the brands you (in general) get from the store. The ones I get are either 22-24 carbs. since they're made from either corn or rice because they are gluten free.
It's okay to have an off day now and then. Things will be back the way you want it tomorrow.
My Mac n cheese came in a box and I’m assuming they were of sub par consistency (cheap). Then noodles were of the same make up. White flour? And the.bread was white and plain. I was afraid to count the carbs. 😵💫 I’ll boil some eggs for dinner and I’ll be at the market early tomorrow…..😉
White flour sometimes is more carbs. than brown (same with when you have white rice). Brown rice/bread/flour usually is less in carbs.. We didn't have brown rice last night with our dinner and the carbs. were slightly higher than we all expected. Today was better since the bread was multigrain.
For today's dinner I had pan fried mini chicken fillets, a jacket potato with butter and cheese and a garden salad. For desert I had strawberries and cream, Yum! I can't count carbs properly but it was still very nice.
