Moderate eating diary to track instances of GERD.

I have decided to keep a diary, consisting of my stomach condition on rising and the foods and medicines I take thereafter, during the day. And at what point, if any, I have symptoms of Gerd. The idea is is pinpoint what triggers, might be causing the (every 2 days a week or so) of pain and bloating I'm getting.

I don't get it all the time but when I do, its very uncomfortable.

It usually (if it happens) starts in the afternoon and continues until bedtime. I don't eat before lunchtime and only drink water prior to that.

My meals are always fairly light and my diet (I would say) is a healthy one. Very few if any processed foods, I cook with olive oil, my sugar intake is usually lower than 20g per day and I eat mostly a low carb diet. I don't eat white bread and avoid grains.

It's possible, it is in fact helicobacter pylori (there's a cheap boots test for that) in which case it'll require antibiotics from the Docs.

But I want to exclude, food or medicine triggers, first.

I have silent reflux (causing phlegm to rise to throat and sometimes requires me to expel this ugly stuff). Take 2 omeprazole before bed and 1 an hour before waking. Seems acid from tea, fruit, tomato sauce can trigger the reflux. I had to stop drinking the ice tea and limit my caffeine to a cup of coffee in morning. Drinking more water. No fruit juice. f

Once my stomach settles I can reintroduce fruit but will stay away from fruit juice and my daily intake of ice tea.
