I’ve decided to not eat bread for 30 days after watching Videos on YouTube .

Has anyone else done this ? I find people make out you need it all the time throughout your life .

I've gone pretty long spells without bread, you'll get used to it fairly quickly. It is simply the convenience of bread that makes it so popular, as you don't have to carry cutlery or keep it hot/have access to a microwave.

Good luck finding alternatives that work best for you :)

I have only had a sandwich at social events where there was no other choice and regretted it later. I haven't bought bread or a sandwich for at least three years. The only healthy bread is soda bread which is fermented overnight and the yeast consumes the sugars.

Good for you to change your diet! It takes courage to quit something as popular as bread. But its the only way to know if a food is affecting you, just go off of it for a while. good luck!

I feel much better when I don't eat bread or any wheat products. It causes bloating, sluggish energy, feeling too full and thinking to myself "I shouldn't have eaten that". I have been tested for gluten/wheat allergy and am negative. But my body tells me that wheat is not working for me. I had chronic eczema on my face that went away when I quit eating wheat. I also lost weight. Occasionally I'll have some gluten-free toast, it doesn't bother me the way wheat does.
