It works yey but do a small shallow one

I've heated through a brownie mix, it's fine if you like crispy in the outside and gooey insides, but I'd be a bit nervous trying to cook something you want evenly soft, like a sponge. You could do worse than try, but it would be better to try a small cup-cake amount first, given the difficulties sourcing eggs at the moment.

Doing a small one is a good idea. I’ve noticed there’s a shortage on eggs again.
