About 1:30pm Today made some Scrambled Egg, my 'usual' Recipe Except I added some Maple Syrup to the Blend.... WHAT a 'Lovely' Flavour! Coupled with some Ham On Toast, this was an absolutely Delightful Lunch.
I purchased some Maple Syrup, a Genuine one, a couple of months ago and I have been VERY Impressed with it. Our North American Cousins put it on Pancakes- for Breakfast...... I'm NOT going 'that' far mind!
I used too know a Cypriot Man, he died a few years back now, who used to do 'Honey Glaze' Chipolata Sausages..... couple that with the beautiful Liqueurs. an Invite. to Peters was ALWAYS accepted!

Good morning Andrew, that’s an interesting combination I’m also aware that some people like to glaze a fried egg with a maple syrup glaze. Personally I like savoury eggs but can imagine it adds flavour. So good for you for experimenting in the kitchen and you can’t beat the real thing when it comes to maple syrup.
I’ve experimented with glazes for bread as that adds colour flavour and crunch to the crust and I make a glaze/wash with sugar honey maple syrup with 1 tea spoon of the sweetener and 1 tea spoon of boiling water mixed thorough,y and brushed on with a pastry brush. You can make glazes by melting butter and adding the sweetener to that.
And lastly Banana bread is the best for a maple syrup glaze in my opinion. 🍌😊
