I was given a couple of pounds yes pounds of Blue berries a few days ago.
I'm using them up before they turn.
One way was in a smoothie ( pictured). About a cup of berries to about two cups of unsweetened Almond milk and into the blender. Took about as long to make as did typing this post. And less time to down it..
Yes, Matcha (Japanese powdered green tea) is a wonderful addition to most fruit smoothies. Youโve probably checked it out, there is a buncha health benefits associated with it. I drink it mixed with moringa(yet another superfood that tastes slightly like pear but mostly like dusty dried grass) and a honey stick. And donโt forget- blueberries are easy to freeze, easy to pull out a handful & throw still frozen into into muffins, pancakes, and especially into oatmeal.
Your smoothie sounds and looks wonderful. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
We have had some smoothies here and there. We've used different types of fresh fruit and flavors of Greek yogurt so there would be extra calcium and protein added. We also add some milk to make it thicker now and then. Really good!
