Cravings seem to be an inevitable part of trying to eat healthier and lose weight, because you've stopped eating the foods that release endorphins into your system and your body needs that hit. However, just realising that each craving means your losing weight is a good way (as well as drinking water, you may be thirsty) to handle them. That's what I reflect on today.
You sound really positive in your blog today - that is great!
Fantastic that you're sleeping better too - that's a great outcome, and wishing you the best for tomorrow.
Regarding cravings, I find that allowing myself things that I enjoy (i.e. a piece of banana bread and a piece of dark chocolate) within my day, helps me to feel like I've satisfied myself, in terms of not depriving myself of things I enjoy. I also keep my hydration adequate to my daily needs - and speaking of which, I've just done a work-out, so I need some water now, as I've been sweating!
Sounds like a good idea Zest! One of my major problems is portions. At the moment I don't want to have things that may lead me to having more, then more etc. Once I am into this a little more and am a little more in control, then I think I should be able to start what you are in control of now! Best of luck and I hope you enjoyed your workout!
