Black rice has plenty of health benefits and apparently more antioxidants that blueberries, and can prevent cell damage.

Hey thanks MintTeaMascara I knew it was good so my opinion just went up.So thanks again for this it is appreciated. 👍😊
You're welcome.I'm looking forward to getting some next time I'm at the wholefoods shop.
It's made me think twice about trying to switch from white to brown again as well
I was mistaken between black and wild. It's wild rice that's super expensive. Black rice isn't so bad in comparison
Hey that’s good red rice is also really good as black rice is really very dark red and if you cook red and wild rice together it looks really nice as well. 😊
Thanks. I'll probably experiment with trying different ones
Thanks where do we get it is in from regular supermarkets I don't eat much rice but worth having if it's going to reduce inflammation etc 😊
There's this online shop that sells it buywholefoodsonline.co.uk/o... Holland & Barrett do too but it seem quite a bit more expensive there.
Once delivery charges are added I'm not sure which would be better value for money.
Hi folks I buy it from an independent whole food shop and they’re cheaper than H&B by a lot. 😊
My local whole foods shop didn't have any.. I got some wild instead. Will probably try some other time to get some black. Thanks
sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/Pro... Sainsburys seem to have some at a reasonable price if you can't get it at a whole foods shop. Hidden is this the same as black rice?
Hi MintTeaMascara I have used black rice in the past, and I really like the flavour, and it's great to see all these benefits written down. Thanks for sharing the information.

This is great as it is black rice, 👍😊
Thanks.. Wasn't sure if it was the same thing as it says it's rice, other places say it's not a rice 🤷🏼♀️
Sometimes it is listed as purple rice.
😊 Thanks.. I'm a bit confused at this point as I've just woken up to a whole new world of rice. I never knew there were so many varieties. I'm sure I'll understand the difference with time
