Cooking with spices some ideas

Cooking with spices brings a different element to your food many are of little nutritional value.

It is taste smell and aroma senses sensual sexy and time to spice up your life.

Used all over the world in many recipes, cuisines and cultures.

Have some ideas and more to help those to use spices.

Cumin Coriander Cinnamon useful in any bean or pulse dish.

Chicken and Pork brings different element, fantastic with shoulder of Pork long and slow.

Use this with Potatoes Chickpeas Spinach and Lemon juice.

Onions loads of garlic and water Olive oil or use

Ragu based sauces.

Cumin on its own earthy needs a partner use Cinnamon or Coriander fine ground.

Use Cinnamon with stuffed pastas and add to Porridge sweets puddings.

I use this with Chicken with just simple Potatoes, Peppers and Cherry tomatoes.

Use Passata stock and Onions herbs .

Sweet aromatic.

Three spices used in regular recipes are Paprika classic Pork spice with mushrooms.

Use this with Pork Shoulder Steaks sear add to slow cooker add Passata, Paprika, Sage or Rosemary. Stock Onions.

Garlic and use this with beans use Borletti .

Fry off Mushrooms add or buy anti pasti jars olive oil cooked Mushrooms . Storecupboard essential .

Add end warm through serve.

Do this also with Mushrooms, Courgettes add Cinnamon or Coriander.

Serve Rice or Chickpeas or Pasta.

Turmeric use in any stew casserole tagine or any recipes , helps digestion of vegetables.

Any beans and pulses.

I use this in my Soup recipes.

Chicken ones easy .

One large stockpot poach Chicken water half way add usual suspects Soffrito Onions, Carrots, Celery. Leaves ends and add herbs recommend Thyme Bay Rosemary.

Season add half a teaspoon Turmeric water makes bright yellow.

Leave two hours hob cool down removed meat shred.

Add vegetables to blender or food processor blitz along stock water careful hot stuff..

Sieve add to pan shredded Chicken plus tin of Lentils or other pulses.

Broth sort of soup with Chicken must warn you moorish add bread bottom of bowl. Soaks up liquid so good.

Just some ideas hope every one gives them a try .

Tip when using spices add to a bowl measure splash hot water starts spices oils and aromats .

Prevents burning.

Never add to a recipe unless you know precisley the taste strength.

Chilies one example.

I agree that Chicken broth soup is really more-ish, very tasty indeed. :-) Lots of nice ideas there, and thanks for sharing them.

Hello am sort of now have clean up and tidy up.

Hope these help you anything please ask me.

I did see a lot on spices need to know wanted to do spice blends and pastes.

On here so do a little post on those wishing to know.

Fine to use shop bought pastes could if you so wish to .

I sometimes do add aother spices cook it make it your own then freeze it Ice cubes trays with touch of oil mixed in, use old one not white tray .

Turmeric stains everything, including me lol...

Like me been smoking years chainsmoker haaa.

Another one use certain brand of tomato Soup Heinz for base of any Curry sauce has ideal colour for Tikka Masala.

Shh do not tell any one lol...
