Hi everyone, I’m really bad at planning what to eat/knowing what to eat. Does anyone have any suggestions on good meals/recipes/best things to eat when attempting to diet?

I am by no means the best at dieting but some recipes I have for this new attempt are cottage pie with half meat and half lentils and beans topped with celeriac and carrot mash.

Soup made from a root veg pack, 1 lg potato, a head of broccoli, chicken stock cube x2, 1tsp ground ginger, 2tsp tumeric, 1tsp ground cumin. Fry onion in spices with 2tsp oil add root veg for 5mins, add stock cubes and broccoli cover with hot water and simmer til all cooked. I prefer it mashed together with potato masher but can blitz if prefer smoother texture.

Other meals are chicken i oyster sauce, teriyaki beef noodles, curry chicken skewers, egg and ham fried rice, tortilla wrap pizza, field mushroom burgers.

If you look in the Topics section under Meal Ideas, you will find dozens of suggestions. Eat fresh, eat healthy three meals a day, avoid snacking and watch portion sizes is the best way to diet because it’s the only way that’s sustainable in the long term. Good luck!
