Today, well yesterday now actually- I Fried Off some 'Left Over' (deliberately) Mashed Potato, with some cabbage I cooked, and 'threw in' some sweetcorn. I simply fries this, as you would, 'Bubble & Squeak' which, in a sense, it was. I had some frozen Sausages, which I grilled, they are quite nice ('Nice'....Oh Please!) but rather fatty. I simply grill them, so the fat stays in the tray..... I make a 'bouillon gravy' with the cabbage water. Very simple and 'tasty' too😊. Just a 'Hottie' tonight, there is a Chilli- Con- Carne in the Freezer....

Bouillon is a 'Swiss Vegetable' Stock that, can be used as- according to the pack- a Drink (though I find it a bit too 'salty'), Seasoning or Stock. I tend to Use It either as a gravy- just add Meat Juices, or Veg Water- or as an Add In stock. I find it very flexible and, unless you go really 'silly', it's difficult to overdo. Find it in the same 'Isle' as Gravy Granules, Oxo, Knorr and so on. I think that, price wise, it is a 'bit more' than some but worth it.
Give it 'a go', and let me 'know'- there you are Poetry!
