Today I have a, pre- bought- from a Butchers- Chicken & Vegetable Mix, with Ginger. I'm simply Cooking/ Roasting, the whole lot, in a 'Lidded' Pyrex Dish along with some corn on the cob. I don't think, that I'll, need Anything else but, if I do, I have some Pre-Cooked Potato in the fridge. It's all beginning to SMELL, very good, I have just sired it again- and, on a 'Whim', added a third of a can of Sweetcorn....yes I know that I have Corn On The Cob with it!
I'm Hoping For a 'Nice'....NICE🤢….result, this Butchers is a VERY good one.

Yes it WAS lovely and I had, almost the same amount again, to Freeze. (I'll only need to Warm It Up, next time). All finished with Proffita (clearly NOT the right spelling) Rolls, followed by coffee.
It should be Good tomorrow, as well, we are having a Halloween Party👻- I have already 'supplied' the Colour changing Lights.....🧛♂️.
Have only just caught up on some posts but yours struck me. My husband died 4 months ago and my neighbour's husband 2 months later. We live in a retirement community and found there were 4 of us about the same age and in the same situation and we have become firm friends, we have a monthly get together and we all bring something to eat (tonight is our Halloween event). It makes sure that we still think about enjoying our food, gives us company and still enjoy our life as much as possible. Good for you, stir fry with ginger is lovely.
