Ok, so I'll start by saying I'm definitely not coming on here to promote Burger King as an example of healthy eating, but this story shows they're making quite a good step towards more natural foods:

Basically they are aiming to remove preservatives from their foods over the coming months. I think it's a great step, when you compare this image to a McDonald's meal purchased in 2009:

I really hope other manufacturer follow suit :)

Hey your secret is out now...this is interesting but the photo of the mouldy burger is gross but if thats how they want to sell burgers.

I do agree that it's a great idea to get rid of preservatives and it shows that there is customer demand for this so thats good news.

I hope that you enjoyed your burger. 😊

It wasn't my burger :) I actually haven't eaten a McDonalds/Burger King/KFC for about 18 years now and I don't want to break my run. It is very promising the changes they've tried to make over the years, so maybe one day I'll go back, but for now I'm quite happy "missing out".

I can however dig out some photos of a pack of rolls I found while cleaning someone's house out. They were 18 months past their use by and still looked as fresh as they day they were bought!
