I might be wrong but I don't think there's any way to lose fat from a specific area. As you lose weight it will gradually come off everywhere but not necessarily in the order you want it to.
Are you able to do exercises on your core, with your back issues? There's lots of free workouts on YouTube and free apps that help to tone and strengthen specific areas.
And for breakfast I'd recommend protein rather than carbs as they keep you feeling full for longer.
Best of luck to finding a programme that suits you!
Hi I agree, my belief is that you can't spot target fat loss. I have found most success for belly fat by using time restricted eating having just 2 meals a day and a variety of exercises mainly strength and HIIT. It is the largest muscles that burn the most fat so you have to work the glutes and quads etc to get fat burning. This would also help you with strengthening of your legs. I use YouTube every morning to do just 20m and rotate the type of activity.
There is also a fasting group on here for support. Good luck!

Hi Tigerlily21 the others are right, you can’t choose where the fat comes off, where it’s distributed is down to your genetics, but if you are overweight losing the excess should mean at least some comes off your tummy area.
As far as exercise goes given that you have had some spinal surgeries I would recommend you ask your doctor for a physiotherapy referral, then they can advise you on what exercises are safe to do and if there are any which should be avoided for your back condition. I would suggest pilates for your core strength but not just a fitness class or video, at least some initial classes with a qualified physio so you learn the correct techniques.
Good luck. 😀
