I haven't been for many longs walks as I've been busy with other things and got out of the habit of wearing a fitness device. Today I had to go to the other side of town which's around 2 miles away, so I took the long way home past the lake and through the forest and I walked back a similar route as it's very attractive even though it's very misty here, Mother Nature has a rugged beauty in some weather.
I took 12457 steps average heart beat 97bpm ranging between 88 and 116 I'm 5' 10''
and my weight is 140lb with a BMI of 20.
I took this photo in the misty drizzle and enjoyed the walk. π
I agree Jerry, I live right on the edge of a city, turn left 5 mins and Iβm the countryside, and much prefer to walk that way, but last night I drove through the suburbs to pick my son up from a late shift and with minimal traffic and the mist diffusing the street lamps it was actually quite beautiful for once π
I spent an hour at the gym instead, although my tracker doesn't tend to register much of a workout when I'm at the gym (most people who do weight work have the same issue). 7500 steps all in
Today I'm swapping the gym for a dancefloor, as we have a ceilidh tonight.
Hey I like taking the long way home sometimes, I think it's great spending an hour at the gym after being at work all day and I bet you felt better for it.
Enjoy your ceilidh dancing tonight I expect the bag pipes will be out in force...so it sounds fun. π
