Batch cook is on

Icandothis2017-2018 profile image

Sorry for the longest post I eve have done.

So last night for when I got in from work I had homemade kebab must say I quite enjoyed it. I left it to cool then popped in fridge. Reheated for lunch. Now I have my salmon and broccoli quiche in oven. Luckily in cook book says can be frozen so I am going to cut it up and pop 1 on plate for tea, one in my fridge for tomorrow lunch/evening meal and put other slices in my freezer for later date. I went to costa today and had only tea no muffins or cake etc. As a treat with me following slimming world plan I have bought milk choc buttons as my treats that I can have. But that is only if desperately craving choc. However I am going to do some homemade hummus dip soon as I also have a cucumber and some peppers to use up too. Also with mushrooms and peppers I am thinking of doing my breakfast muffins too in a batch. So I can use them any morning but can also be used as snack or other meal if needed. Gonna cook myself a curry for tomorrow night and possibly Saturday for after work too. Totally focused. This was due to Xmas shopping earlier and need to see 2 weeks b4 Xmas where I am with weight as saw some beautiful jumpers and party tops.

Due to starting midweek it’s spurred me to have my fakeaways over weekend.

Hi Icandothis2017-2018

Glad to hear your homemade kebab was delicious, and your Salmon & Broccoli Quiche looks lovely! Great that you can freeze it.

I hope the homemade hummus dip tastes good. I bet it will be a nice combination with the cucumber and peppers. Yum! I like the sound of your Breakfast Muffins too.

Wow, your curry sounds good too - you are definitely focused! Exciting that you've spotted some beautiful jumpers and party tops that you have your eye on.

Enjoy making your meals over the weekend, and have a great weekend!

Overnight oats for breakfast today. Went a bit off track yesterday evening but nothing overly bad like a takeaway. I bought 3 stone baked white rolls from Lidl spread a bit lighter cheese over it and rest of salmon
