I think this is interesting and inspiring how this lady went from 136Kg to 86Kg in 9 months with before and after photographs:

I think that many will be able to relate to this paragraph from the article,

“Saying you want to start and lose weight is great lip service, but actually doing it is terrifying and full of uncertainty. But once you do it - put one foot on the ground... it becomes second nature. And then there’s no looking back."

I think thats it's great that there's a lot in the press about the many benefits IF as it's great for longevity preventing diabetes and treating pre diabetes so it can be a great method to regain health and well being. I wish it said what type of fasting protocol she followed - IF can mean so many things to different people!

For anyone interested in keto this review jamanetwork.com/journals/ja... entitled "The Ketogenic Diet for Obesity and Diabetes—Enthusiasm Outpaces Evidence" just came out and may be of interest.

The article has a range of comments for and against at the end. I'll pick up on one by Angela Stanton PhD because she actually cites references. So why does she choose studies funded by the Dairy Council and the Dutch Dairy Association? At the very least she should declare the bias when quoting the research.
