Hello everyone hope your having a fantastic day 😀this Moring i had one toasted thin with poached egg and mushrooms not fried and lunch is mango grapes and a peach WW yoggart 😋 but am struggling on the breakfasts any ideas I don’t like cereals and not a fan of scrambled egg and I have to be in mood for omelettes so finding I’m just going for same foods or fruit, but then as fruit not filling I’m hungry a couple hours later any suggestions would be a great help I’m also a veggie on a budget 😀

Hi Hidden

How about these 'Vegetarian Breakfast options' from the BBC Good Food website? There's quite a few there - and I hope you find some ideas that you like:

Hi crochethook, I’m a toast and jam person myself so not very imaginative when it comes to breakfasts. Mushrooms or beans on toast? The BBC website that Zest suggested sounds good, might take a look there for some light lunch ideas 😃

I often have a protein shake - a banana, frozen blueberries, almond & coconut milk, protein powder (I like a vanilla soy one), dollop of Greek yogurt, psyllium husks, Hemp seeds and LSA (linseed, sunflower and almond). Tasty and very filling. I often go all day on it and need little if any lunch. Prior to making these I thought I’d never be one for a liquid breakfast but I love them. On other days I’ll have yogurt with berries and nuts, overnight oats or eggs. I read that you should change around what you have for breakfast.

Thanks that sounds really nice I’ve not really done any thing like that before sounds delicious so will definatly give that a go 😀 not keen on oats though or any cereals really but I suppose you can change the fruits to make different ones each day ! I’m counting calories so would they have more as sugars from juicing ? 🤔
