Why do I feel drugged, drunk, high after I have eaten any meal from salad to pizza or noodles, I get this feeling between 5 to 10 minutes into eating a meal ? I then have a warm sensation in my brain and tingling and tightening and then my body goes warm and then 10 minutes later I go extremely tired. I also feel my chest tightening up and my eyes heavy . Theses symptoms last for about an hour or longer. I also get this drugged feeling when am actually tired? I haven’t went to the doctors about this just yet but I have had my bloods tested for other things and diabetes and nothing is wrong !!

you asked this question already, Have you asked the doctor to look into this problem? if the replies were not helpful enough as mentioned its best to go to the doctor.

There is such a thing as food addiction, a organization called Overeaters Anonymous. It gives you that warm comfortable feeling. You eat even if you're not hungry.

Hi Bam I heard once from a herbalist that foods that have high msg can affect people with Fibro , Especially when bought from a take away , the ones we cook ourselves at home are not as bad. Im not sure if this is what’s happening to you but it might be something to look into. I would also drop into the gp just to rule out anything else. Good luck

Hi, I am coming in on this old post, but wondering if you ever discovered what the problem was behind your symptoms??

As another guy said you can trick yourself if you think your gunna get it. Also something that no one has brought up is food allergy. I get this but only when I have milk or wheat l (stuff I'm allergic to) I'm just on here to see if anyone else is the same

This can happen if you have experienced being drugged before or had a bad experience with drugs. If you have a subconscious fear that someone will drug your food, you are most likely to feel the symptoms. It's the brain tricking you. If you keep feeling this way after every meal for a long time, your brain is going to make this the new reaction after eating
