Cabbage - cook or eat raw?

Is it more beneficial to eat cabbage raw?

If it is cooked, what is the best way to cook cabbage without compromising its nutritional content? Thanks!

I enjoy it raw and cooked.

Raw - chopped with carrot, onion and mayonnaise to make a coleslaw or in an Asian Noodle Salad.

Cooked - either in a stir fry or lightly steamed with a little butter and black pepper.

Do you think chopping cabbage reduces its vitamin content?

I don’t think so, as long as you use it fairly quickly and it’s not left sitting in the fridge for days.
