I got the results last night

I got results from my gut impermeability, candida and gut inflammation test. Here are the results. I have very low secreted Iga (gut immunity) and very high yeast colonization in my mouth. I went to a nutritionist today and she made a food plan for me and gave me iron supplements and a supplement with a mix of prebiotics, probiotics and digest enzymes. I'm actually happy i got diagnosed with something because i'm not in the dark about my health issues as much anymore. Has anyone ever had any experience with any of these issues before?

Hi healthiskey

I am so glad that you've got your results back and that you've received a diagnosis, and also that you've been given a food plan and advice to follow - that's great! I haven't personally had issues with those things, but I just wanted to say that I am glad you've found something that will hopefully help you.

Zest :-)

Pre & pro biotics can be very effective. The key is not just take one but get a mix, and that is what you seem to have. Good luck!

To be very honest with you. Anything nutritionists offer do not need to have a scientific basis. I had seen some articles that these nutritional supplements may not work as claimed. I'm still learning, taken a few of these myself and still have a few lying around. Experimenting is good and I'm open to trials, but expecting immediate results may lead to some disappointment. I have to say, though. I admire your willingness to pursue as to what's wrong with you.

I know that but she has a food plan laid out for me as well. She knew a lot of my symptoms before i even told her much as well so i do trust her. I have got myself symptom free before a few years ago just by a relativley healthy diet and some exercise but i ended up going back to square one by drinking and partying and eating junk food again and now it's harder for me to heal so i know that food is the medicine that can heal me and exercise too. It's just now i need more guidance in terms of what to eat and what not to.

Hopefully the food plan and supplements work. I've been feeling a bit worse today then yesterday even though i started the diet but it's only been a day i guess.
