I’ve been pretty skinny all my life, but recently after getting my license and getting a job I’ve been eating a lot of fast food, any tips on how to break the habit and eating healthier? And any tips on how to stay on and continue the diet?

Hi diablorolla ,

Welcome to the Healthy eating forum. I hope you'll enjoy participating here and do have a look around all our Topics and Pinned posts. Lots to see.

Also, the NHS Choices website (which this forum is linked to) as some great 'Healthy eating' pages, which would be worth a look:

Hope you enjoy your week.

Zest :-)

Keep away from anywhere selling junk food, & always carry healthy options with you.

I fill small tubs with nuts ~ walnuts, almonds & brazils, & chia, pumpkin & linseeds, dark chocolate, & sometimes dried fruit, so I have a healthy option when I'm out. I usually carry fresh fruit & a bottle of filtered water or a flask of green tea in winter.

Make meals in advance on your days off, to take to work & eat when you get home.

Bad Hare had great idea's but if you must stop you sound young and most oftentraveling in a group that likes to stop. Ask for a butger wrapped in lettuse they make them the same way as on a bun just wraps. Ice tea not diet drinks bad for your teeth. Water is best.

Exercise more walk park as far as you can from where you are going. If grocery shopping go out get car move closer then load. Do at leat a 1 mile to start 2 times a week and work up Get a buddy to go with you. This will burn calories.

Pass those places up if alone- ALWAY!!!!!!!
