Well I actually surprised myself yesterday big time. I was at my daughter's house and forgot to take along my raw fruit bar to go with my lunch so ended up eating 3 crumpets (2 with cheese on) and a Galaxy Ripple. The crumpets were okay (I love wholegrain foods but can't eat them at the moment as I am following a diet for IBS and wholegrains are off the list ). After I ate the crumpets I had the chocolate bar and didn't really enjoy it at all yet they used to be my favourite, it really looks like my taste is changing.
Today I have decided to make some more raw fruit bars and they taste gorgeous and I have added the web address to the recipe below. Raw fruit bars over chocolate any day and I have now found a use for my cacao powder.
These raw fruit bars look really good, I know exactly how you feel about milk chocolate, it makes my teeth tingle now as its so sweet.
I really like crumpets too so I'm glad you enjoyed yours. 😊

Thank you Jerry; I didn't put a photo up as the one I took was all blurry, you'll have to imagine what mine looked like.
My biggest downfall is certainly bread; I'll have to get my 'thinking cap' on and think of different lunches. It's about time I made a homemade soup as after all I use my slow cooker a fair bit now. I did though enjoy the crumpets but they have to have cheese on top as well - yummy.
Yes, looks like your taste buds are changing - great that you've made some more raw fruit bars and that they taste gorgeous. I will have a look at the recipe - sounds great!
Yes my taste buds are certainly changing and I absolutely love raw fruit bars and so much so I have printed off a fair few recipes off the internet. The ones I made above taste absolutely delicious and well worth making. I made 18 and they weighed around 32g to 46g approx.
