Quick golden milk...

150-200mls hot milk (nut or oat milk’s fine, though I usually use organic whole milk which is naturally sweet).

1/4 tsp of turmeric

1/4 tsp of coconut flour (ground almonds would work, too, as a little fat enhances the bioavailability of turmeric).

A pinch of fresh black pepper (piperine enhances the bioavailability of anti-inflammatory circumin in turmeric, as well as other nutrients).

A pinch of cinnamon

A pinch of ginger if you like it (I don’t, so add some grated nutmeg instead).

Mix dry ingredients, & add to hot milk.

Keep stirring inbetween sips as the dry ingredients settle.

Enjoy your golden milk, & not needing to scrub your fingers afterwards! 🧙🏻‍♀️

I like it better the real way with fresh turmeric, but not having yellow hands & nails! ;)

I know what you mean about having yellow hands and nails, I had a yellow finger from sticking my finger in the turmeric powder - and I regretted it! :-)

That looks lovely Mel, will it work using coconut milk?

Yes, Kitten-whiskers , it's lovely with any nut or oat milk! There's a recipe for making it properly in my previous post that I've added to this one.

I haven't tried hemp or rice milk as I'm not a fan, though I'm sure it's be fine for anyone that does.

Excellent, Thank you Mel. I will try that, it does look lovely

Its a good share BadHare

I usually have golden milk every night but not as extensive as this one

That nutmeg if added will give a good sound sleep for sure

Vegans can have this with coconut or almond milk

How do you make yours, Hidden ?

I'm enjoying it so much, I've ordered a kilo of double strength turmeric for my next batch. :)

I love nutmeg on my morning coffee too. :)

Heat it. Meanwhile add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and a pinch of pepper plus half a teaspoon of organic Ghee.

Being to boil.
