Newbie

Hello looking to get tips to eat healthier and loose a few pounds. I started doing the honey / cinnamon drink in the morning and before bed. But I have only been drinking half a cup. I heard this combo has great benefits. I'm post ankle fracture and then my father passed last year. Depression got me. I gained weight. So I do keep active by going to the gym. But I feel like this is not enough.

Sorry to hear about your bereavement. I hope you’re feeling better now?

Cut out processed foods, & make everything you eat from scratch. Avoid artificial sweeteners & bad fats such as margarine as these have a negative effect on our digestion. Try adding a good probiotic such as kefir to your diet, to improve your gut health.

as i recall even from a young age , fitness in body is fitness in mind.

if you can keep up going to your gym and staying active the sad things that happen in our lives will slowly pass.

i do hope you feel better soon.
