How to choose healthy when eating out

I am Zoe, I am new to the community and I would like to share some relevant info about healthy nutrition. Eating out and socialize is part of a normal life. So we should try to make it in the most proper and cozy way without breaking nutrition rules and compromising our health.

1. Avoid table salt including kosher salt and sea salt.

2. Fried vegetables are not better than French fries.

3.Fried eggplants for example may absorb 4 times the amount of an equal portion of potatoes.

4.Prefer baked food over fried food

5. Do not use salad dressings. They contain a lot of salt and preservatives. Olive oil with vinegar is a better alternative.

6. Choose healthy wraps with:

Fresh tomato, fresh cucumber, low fat cheese, mushrooms, boiled eggs, lettuce, carrots, avocado, chicken, low fat mayonnaise.

7. Avoid pizza because it tends to be high in sodium.

8. Pasta with vegetables, seafood, or fresh tomato sauce

9 . Fish, chicken and beef that contain much protein. Increasing protein intake is supposed to help lowering systolic blood pressure.

If you still find difficult to comply with the above suggestions, at lest keep in mind this: All in good measure!
