Watermelon Storage

Good morning all and happy Thursday!

I love Watermelon and tend to buy a whole one rather than ready cut but i am never sure how to store the melon once cut.

Does it make sense to cut it into cubes/slices and keep in a Tupperware box or does it keep better as a whole fruit wrapped in cling film?

Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
