I have just seen a post on a group I am in on face book and a lady is on about making homemade crisps (chips if you are in U.S.A) out of potato peelings. Washed, dried and cooked. Is this healthy or not before i attempt to make any. a a few members have made them now and use them as stock too

when ever i make jacket potato i love to eat the skin too.
i sometimes make chips to without peeling the potato. thats chips if you are in the UK.
ive never tryed what you say. but will do tomorrow.
its 10pm now in Thailand but to answers your question..its no diffrent then eating a peeled potato .

I am so trying them payday. got a mix of herbs and spices in my cupboard. Night night
it all depends on how they are cooked. you can now get air fryers that need no fat. i think they would be very healthy. also it depends if a person suffering from IBS it might be to much fibre for them. if they are cooked in oil or cooked in lard. all those things come into consideration. i love potatoe skins and often keep the on when i make chips in the oven with sweet potatoes and rosemary. and very little oil. yum yum, you can sprinkly whatever herbs or spices that you love on them love grace xoxoxo
I would use very little oil as i am not overly keen on frylight. i loved making home ade chips on slimming world sprinkled with paprika
