Hi Icandothis2017-2018
I've been thinking about your post about 'coupons' and personally speaking, I never find the coupons all that useful, because the ones I see in magazines and papers, tend to be for products I've never actually bought before, and don't necessarily want to try - I think I'd end up spending more if I used the coupons.
I like loyalty cards, as those can give some savings, but I've never calculated how much I've saved using them.
Iceland have occasionally had a voucher for £5 off a spend of £25, and that is good value - so I do look out for those and use them, as I can buy whatever products I like from Iceland, and know that they are already quite good value buys.
I like the Coop as there is the double dividend days - and the Waitrose loyalty card means a daily paper can be free with a spend of £10 - and there's the free cup of coffee there - although the rules of that have changed recently I think.
I tend to find bargains in produce that has been reduced due to nearing it's use by date - and I often buy more of those things and batch cook and freeze - that saves money.
What's your experience of couponing? I'd like to wish you good luck with it, as I know you're hoping to get away on a break with your savings - there are some websites specifically about the subject online, so you could research them, and maybe get some bargains.

not really had experience its just my mother has a sky channel that has extreme couponing on it and was sat watching it the other day. I love reduced aisle in supermarkets when they have stuff i like in. before my healthy eating when i was huge and had no sense of healthy eating we (myself and partner) used to get sausage rolls (deli) for like 10p and other stuff deli counter wise for 5p or sometimes free. It is trying to get there for healthy things before the no offence to these people but slimming group attendees
