Anybody wanting to eat properly, lose weight , gain fitness and strength - I recommned that they visit the Couch to %K forum here . Very active with lots of friendly people - who have never run before in their life - and now learning how to run. However, the addage "you can't outrun a bad diet applies !! )

Hi Bazza,

I agree with you that the Couch to 5k is a great thing, and the forum is very active.

I only recently started running in the last year or so, and I really enjoy it.

Wishing you an excellent weekend.

Lowcal :-)

Hi Bazza1234 I have just started the Couch to 5K, I have 1 run left to do of my first week. I have always avoided running, preferring walking or cycling but I thought I would give it a go, and its been better than I thought. I love the coach in my ear telling me when to start and stop. Do I follow your post for this forum? I'm still a bit confused how things work on this site

Couldn't agree more, I've just done my 1st run of week 9 and can't believe it I'm 50 in January and feel better than I have in years. I had a health scare earlier in the year and it brought me to my senses and I've made some much needed changes. :D
