The battle of the bulge!

Will I ever make it, losing weight?! It can feel a struggle, so I am thinking 'healthy eating' now. I am focussing more on health and gaining more energy. I am sick of feeling exhausted! So, I am starting to help myself. How have you done today? Let's encourage one another. Xx

Hi I know how you feel! I've been very slowly losing weight but I'm determined not to give up. I'm eating healthily and exercising regularly. I take my measurements every month and they are going down and that keeps me motivated. Keep going you can do it 😊

Hi Sue, you are doing son well. Keep going! That is a good idea taking your measurements monthly, that is a good motivator ... either way! I often weigh too often, then can get disheartened! Silly, I know, as our weight can vary over every few days. I've seen a nutritionalist, so am (mostly!) avoiding milk, cheese, bread and sweet things, that seem to block up my stomach. As nutrition lady advised, "it is about Gut health." How often we clear our stomachs. So my tummy is improving eating more vegetables, which I do enjoy. We so need to enjoy our food, don't we? One day at a time, eh?! Xxx

The answer to that is yes, we can all do this. I have found since i started healthy eating, i have a bit more energy. Got fed up being out of breath all the time and having little energy. The support on this forum is amazing! Everybody helps each other on here, so you are not alone and there is always someone there to listen. Good luck ☺

Hi Black Beauty, thank you for your encouraging words. Yes, as is said, "Rome wasn't built in a day." Often with weight-loss many of us are keen to see "fast results." But losing weight slow and steadily seems the best way to keep it off. We are human, so will have not so good days, a meal out or times away from home. We need to enjoy life, but not 'too much!' ... I guess. Keep going and I will too. Xxxx 🙌🌞
