Advice on loosing belly fat! I've dieted & excercised down from 16st 9 to 14St 2, but very little has come off my belly! Any exercises or dietary advice to help me reduce my mid section would be very much appreciatedππ½π΅π½ππ½

Thanks Bigleg, I've been reading some of your posts, wish there were more people like yourself on this site, simply offering advise and support instead of provoking and arguing! Thanks for the link much appreciated I've also followed
Have you had your hormones checked, you may be hypothyroid. Some people with this look like an apple on sticks, or have a frog's neck. If you have a thermometer, check your body temperature before you get out of bed, every day for several weeks. If it's lower than normal, flag this up with your GP.
This is good reading re diet as gut bacteria is very important to digestion & absorption of nutrients: my.chriskresser.com/wp-cont...
You could also look at what, rather than how much you eat. I have quite a high fat diet as I eat lots of nuts, but can't eat a lot of carbs. I also look for wheat alternatives, when I can, eg, buckwheat for pancakes. I'll eat sourdough as a weekly treat, as the yeast breaks down the gluten.
If you eat meat, steer clear of the processed stuff, & swap to smaller quantities of organic, so you're not ingesting growth hormones & all the other C***P the animals are given.
Going veggie or vegan might also give your body a boost to burn off your stomach. I eat lots of veggie soup made with beans & lentils, & add chillies if I want to get a few pounds off. I avoid processed food, & try to eat as much organic as possible.
As the article states, they're not the diet they'd have in the wild.
Seems that we are very similar in our views and outlook on life! Looking forward to plenty of conversations and debates! No arguments though, just agree to disagree! Nice talking with you and everyone so far in the forum πππ
Fruit is the bodies natural sugar source! Nuts and seeds contain protein, good fats and are high in fibre....I eat a load as well! Maybe we'll bump into each other at the zoo!πππ½ππ½
