I made a mistake. I sent the wrong dates to my potential employer. Ouch. Depression affects every aspect of my life :(

I tend to make more mistakes when I am depressed. Maybe I should triple-check it when doing some task.

We all make mistakes at times...

I know it is harder to think when not feeling well and therefore the chance of making a mistake can be higher.

Can you quickly correct the dates and re-send it? I doubt they will know about your situation and it is your personal information. I hope you can correct it and that it's going to be okay.

Years ago I was told by a senior manager from the UK that the only people that don't make mistakes are the ones that don't do anything. I was a student and a new employee so it made me feel better as I was afraid that being new and inexperienced meant I was going to lose my job.

Thank you for sharing your story about the senior manager. Yea, everyone makes mistakes. My potential employer pointed out my mistake, so I corrected it. I hope they don't mind my mistake.

I tend to do that when I'm anxious. I'm not always good at proof reading things and sometimes I still don't catch the problem.

We do all make mistakes. If she pointed it out kindly she also realizes that too.

Best of luck with job hunting

I tend to make mistakes when I'm anxious and don't have much mental energy left. I'm dealing with lots of stress recently.

Hope I won't make any more mistakes with that employer. I really need luck. Thank you.
