So this past week I have had nothing but nightmares. Me being murdered, chased everywhere, being put out for surgery, you name it, I have had it. I always wake up hyperventilating. So tired...

Really not sure. Can't really remember anything happening that would.

So sorry you are going through that. I have had nightmares often as well with the same theme each time. Maybe try to keep something that comforts you by your bed. Something grounding and that reminds you that you are safe. That's the worst to wake up out of sorts. I hope it passes for you.

Me too. Going to be with my bff in a couple of weeks so I am hoping that will help. Now getting through the airport in Atlanta, that might be interesting lol!

I have been taking prazosin for several months. It takes away the nightmares. I also had a reoccurring dream related to my trauma. I worked with a therapist who did A.R.T. Therapy, similar to E M D R. It wiped the trauma right out of my mind. I am now weaning off the prazosin and if any nightmares reoccur, I am going to work with the therapist on them.
