Here is a link to it -

I have also started mediation, which may aid this process.

It has certainly helped with my lift my mood.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Thanks

Hi Kellysuriol, Yes I've used variations of this. Meditation of different types too. Several things I did really made a huge difference to my headaches; cutting out inflammatory foods and stimulants [wheat, dairy, caffeine and even sugar!!! red meat and alcohol] After the two weeks I noticed a significant reduction in one of my kind s of headache. I took supplements [serrapeptase is particularly good] that worked with reducing inflammation too. Regular acupuncture - as often as you can! I have a daily regime of chi gung/tai chi and used to do a lot of sound and fluid movement work too. These have a similar function to the biofeedback. I was increasing my body awareness to change the cycles of pain, of particular thoughts and particular ways of thinking which I worked out were harming me. [I was ,prior to my accident, very high functioning with some knockout scores in the testing!!] One thing that I used to find really helped was to stand and walk barefoot in the soil in the garden, try a bit of weeding... shaking was good too, then I found that a particular stretch on the side of my body helped - it released congested energy in the gall bladder meridian which passes around the side of the head. If your pain is in your skull bones partly then I recommend seeing a craniosacral therpapist. It helped me amazingly! there was a slight compression in some plates of my skull - nothing that would ever show up on medical things - it would give me the most evil headache to the point where I would hallucinate. Following all these things has meant that now I rarely get headaches of any kind. It's worth the change in diet. If I eat inflammatory stuff now I do feel quite ill. I am now only eating anything grain based if it's been soaked for several days. Have worked out that my morning porrige wasn't doing me any good.....it's hard and seems sad at first but the benefits are tremendous!!!! wearing magnets and sleeping on magnetic mats also increases the amount of oxygen in the blood - I do this as well. find what works for you. Now I actually feel WELL I can focus on improving my cognitive function which is doing just that. Yey!

Good luck

Thanks so much! I have recently been to see a neuropsychologist and she has put me on the path of mindful meditation and mindful CBT. Meditation I have started, CBT on its way. Everything you have said makes sense... So glad to hear someone else taking a holistic approach. I will address my diet, I have cut out the obvious but there is some fine tuning needed.

I am also having cranial work done, dry needling...

How long has your recovery taken?

Thanks again!
