Traumatic brain injury
Acquired mine in 2000! Faced a long hard time there after, recall mom teaching me days of week, times table. Was a chief cashier prior!! U have a long tough road ahead if u like me & many here! Good news if any though will find much support here if only to rant y frustrations?!! Please do as we’ve all been there!!! Consider it as a safe place as u redeveloped the new you!! The tough part is u look the same to others, different way of doing things will probably infuriate them & occasionally you?!! Welcome to our New Orleans!! Remember we are all hear for u as u go through y ( trying to think of word!!) transformation will do, see we are the same!! Just try to smile to spite the challenges ahead!! Good luck x
Hi Kevin. Can you shed more light on your issues. I'm quite OCD with hygiene, especially where food is concerned, and it means I'll only eat stuff prepared by myself. But OCD comes in many forms so how are you affected ?
And if you're OK with sharing your bad habits, you might find others here who can empathize and possibly offer advice on how to kick them !
Not that I'm a good example : I smoked for 40 years 'til my brain haemorrhage in 2011 ....not common sense on my part though ; more a case of 3 months in hospital was a convenient withdrawal period....
