So,this year i thought i would be clever and get someone to do the garden for me.good arrangement pay him once a month for ongoing.he made a start last week.ive gone to sweep and rake up mess and got bitten everywhere(and i mean everywhere!)counted 17 bites on my left leg/foot alone...visit to lovely local chemist,he had a good laugh at the "Elephant woman"gave me tablets/cream and said to put epsom salts in bath.after couple of days, bites still there but not so itchy.he told me that every time a mossie bites they inject a toxin also(who knew)Mr socks very happy his usual rolling patch nettle free so obs more fleas etc...had an attempt to bath him at weekend,i saw this post on facebook someone had put peanut butter on bath tiles...no chance, still picking peanuts out of bath!!Sean was laughing head off when i said what i had tried,he used to stip and get in bath with dog back in the day,we used to have major argues/fights,god i miss those days...

no movement yet on other matters, probably wont be a surprise to most of you.i have changed my tactics a little,i phone, make note of persons name and bombard them with questions.when they cant answer them,i politely thank them and let them know their name is noted, time, date etc.Got myself quite the directory now.then i sit and write all down that was said and add this to the next, next, phone call.when i speak to next person i mention person before, what they said etc.I am becoming a nightmare for them now.My reason?I cant put these insects into a bath of epsom salts as they should be,but i can stop them from continuing to bite me...I wont stop!!love to allxxx

I'm another bite sufferer with itchy, swollen bites on legs, arms & face (despite repellent spray). A bite on my eye puffed up so much it closed completely.

But nowadays, as soon as I'm bitten, I take an antihistamine tablet, and though I'm restless the first night (it takes time to lower raised histamine level) it kills the itch & swelling quickly the next day. Anthisan, Calamine or other 'soothing' creams have no effect for me.

Love your new approach to tackling the powers that be D. Cool and methodical is how to make folk sit up & take notice ! And the information gathering will keep you abreast of timelines and who's doing what. They've heard people sounding off so often it goes in one ear & out the other.

Let's hope your new calmness will level the playing field ! 🤔

Love E. Xx
