PV Shunt

So I had my shunt surgery a week ago and all seems to have gone well. My tummy has lots of stingy pain as does my head. My partner assures me that's good, as it means I'm healing oh ya!!! I get the staples out of my head on Monday while my tummy has soluble stitches. The neuro-surgeon asked me that day after surgery if I had my morning headache. I had to think for a minute then realised it was gone. Can't believe the situation has changed so quickly. My gait has improved too. Fingers crossed the nippy pain disappears shortly and life can get going again. Had a quick chat with my hairdressers about dealing with the new shaved area, we're all sorted there too. Can't let her anywhere near my head yet anyway.

So glad all went well for you. I have experienced this as well - with a shunt alleviating symptoms quickly. Its such a relief.
