I am so glad that you all have been boosting our confidence, now finally the date has arrived of the shunt surgery. Day after is the surgery. We are hoping something better after this.

I'm so glad the wait is over for you all Sanju ; it's often the most difficult part of the process. I trust your brother-in-law's condition will be greatly improved by this procedure.

Remember to bear in mind that recovery is a slow and uncertain process. Keep your expectations in check and allow yourselves to be pleasantly surprised and delighted as things improve, rather than going in expecting a miracle and feeling disappointed - that helps neither yourselves as carers, nor the patient.
