Shunt fixed and replaced

Had my shunt replaced 6/29/18 it was damaged and it was making me sick the doctor has never sicen anything like this in his 25 years of surgery but they let me come home

I ask because you had written the date in an American style, month/day/year.

Anyway, your doctor had never seen a damaged shunt before?

Your doctor needs to get out more then haha.

I have a shunt also and I have had various surgery on it to either unblock it or to replace it.

Yes American and my surgeon is one of the best here when no one else wanted my case he took it he dose surgery on tumors dose gramma knife so he has seen lots just not an allergic reaction to a shunt 27 Year’s in practic and 25 Surgery

Wish you well with the replaced shunt but please check on your diet. Dietary and lifestyle are the best to keep in check when health is compromised. Please take care of yourself and keep a healthy lifestyle.....we are given a new lease in life by having shunts inserted.

Thank you and I do eat clean and healthy I wish I could go out to the gym but I can’t I’m a risk for falls i walk with a can I shift to my left side I walk but get tired even go up and Down my 18 steps with someone in the back of me just in case I fall right know I can’t just had surgery put once I’m ok I go up them like seven times a day pause the 3 times I go down to throw trash and get my mail even though it’s hard I try
