Hi has anyone used head massage to help with headaches, fatigue and stress levels? My headaches tend to be around eyebrows and temple where hit my head. Thinking might help to relax me too. Any ideas?

Head Massage
Head massages are great, indeed any type of massage that relaxes you can be beneficial.I swear by reflexology that I have been having monthly for more than 5 years, really great.

yes I also find laying on shakti mat - an acupuncture mat very helpful for the back of neck and head I believe you can get bands that go around your head too. Goggle if you haven’t heard of them - Shakti. 😀😀
When it comes to a head injury, I find that a gentle head massage can help my pain allot. I am lucky to still be alive but unfortunately I have forgotten lots of things? I just hope I'm getting better? All though it is so slowly that I dont remember big things in my life like my mum passing away quite a while ago but unfortunately my head is helping me to keep breathing so I stay alive! I just hope I haven't changed the way I have been all my life cos I was brought up and made by the two people who are no longer with us? I think my dad passed away only a short time ago? My memory is pants at the moment, but I am lucky to still remember to keep breathing! Unfortunately I dont know how long I have been here? I just hope I've been brought up correctly? I dont remember the accident that has made me so broken. I just hope because my memory is not working like it used to do before this accident that I am lucky to still be here! Unfortunately my memory is not as able as it was before this thing has made me straighten up, to give it another go.
Hi Nemo24,I found massage really helpful.
When things got really bad I had prolotherapy. This is where they inject adore muscle spot with an irritant like saline or glucose, usually with a local anesthetic of a small amount. It resets the area sort of. I used to feel like I was burning quite literally, not just on the inside but with flames on the outside. I couldn't get out of bed and tried not to move. That was the only thing that really helped.
I can't say it was the most pleasant treatment and I felt rough for at least the rest of the day, though it beat the alternative. I found as time went on I needed fewer treatments.
I heard it called something else too, I think a lot of people just call it sugar injections.
I am in Canada so it might get called something different there.
Some find rolling up a towel for under the back of the neck helpful .
Having a look at your resting positions ergonomics might also help.
Weird headaches are common for us.
I found eating cold things also helped. Your mileage may vary.
Best of luck, Leaf
Oils and pressure for relaxation works for me. Particularly works well if I concentrate on my feet, hands and face, though it was the head that was injured. Not as sophisticated as reflexology - I do it myself. . . But 15 minutes massaging really pays dividends. I sleep better, and my tiredness is a bit less the following day.
Any oil - and any amount of pressure that doesn't hurt, and feels right to you. Go for it.
I dislike anyone touching my head, I’ll tolerate the physios and what not.
Even hair cuts I find quite hard work! Have now started to get someone who does home visits which I find less stressful.
